Volunteer for the 2010 Movers and Shakers Gala

The Movers & Shakers Gala at Lakeland College is such a stunning night of marvelous dancing, toe-tapping music and significant fundraising. After two successful sold-out years with over 500 guests this event has surpassed our expectations! In the past two years, the Gala sponsors and guests raised over $650,000 to benefit Lakeland College, the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, the Malawi Teacher Education Program, and nine non-profit organizations in our community. What an accomplishment!

The Gala is a success because a broader community truly works together; over 150 volunteers give of their time and talents, over 100 individuals and businesses donate items to the live and silent auction, local "celebrities" entertain our guests with their stylish dancing and local companies give financially to support this festive evening.

The 2010 Movers & Shakers Gala is going to continue to make a positive impact on our community. Please join me in supporting the vibrant Lakeland College and Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra by volunteering at the event. The 2010 Gala will take place on May 22nd in the Lakeland College Wehr Center.

Below is a summary of the volunteer opportunities available. We would prefer volunteers sign-up online. If you are unable to do so or you have questions, please contact Gala Volunteer Coordinator Emily Rendall-Araujo (920)207-5899 volunteer@sheboygansymphony.org.
