Buy Extra Votes and Support Your Favorite Dancer or Charity

Extra votes can be purchased at the Gala, or in advance by using the online form. We have many ways you can help your favorite dancer secure votes:

• Host a vote party or encourage a friend to host a party to support your dancing. The vote money raised supports Lakeland University student scholarships AND counts toward dancer votes.
  Vote party incentives are as follows:
  • Raise $500 at the party (or commit to raising) for votes and receive two complimentary tickets to the Gala to use as a drawing prize at the vote party.
  • Raise $3,000 at the party (or commit to raising) for votes and receive a second row table with 10 complimentary tickets to the Gala to use as a drawing prize at the party AND all votes purchased will be doubled AND you will receive 10 extra votes at the event.
  • Raise $6,000 at the party (or commit to raising) for votes and receive a front row table with 10 complimentary tickets to the Gala to use as a drawing prize at the gathering AND all votes purchased will be doubled AND you will receive 20 extra votes at the event.
• March 13 - 17 buy one vote get one free vote.
• The Gala will host a contest for paid votes during the first week of May. The three dancers who receive the most paid votes during that week will receive additional free votes. Paid votes can be purchased at moversandshakersgala.org or through the Gala invitation.
  • The dancer with the most amount of paid votes will receive 250 additional votes.
  • The dancer with the second most amount of paid votes will receive 150 additional votes.
  • The dancer with the third most amount of paid votes will receive 50 of additional votes.
• Display a "vote jar" and collect money toward the purchase of votes. All votes are $20 so the total amount of money will be divisible by $20 for the number of votes awarded.
• Send out a letter or start a social media campaign to secure votes.
• Come up with your own ideas too for paid votes! Nothing is off the table!
