Michael Brotz
Michael Brotz presently serves as president/CEO of Plastics Engineering Company, a Brotz Family owned and operated manufacturing firm in Sheboygan. He also serves as the Company's chairman of the board of directors.
Plastics Engineering Company was founded in 1934 by his grandfather, Frank G. Brotz. He joined the firm one week after graduating in 1970 from Northrop University in Englewood, California, with a bachelors of science degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in aeronautical engineering.
In the past, Michael has served the community as a board member of the Sheboygan Development Corporation, the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce and the United Way Campaign. He has also served as a trustee of The Village of Kohler and on the church council for St. Johns Parish in Kohler.
Michael and Patricia, his wife of 43 years, have four wonderful children and five grandchildren. His favorite recreational and pastime activities include sailing, skiing, scuba diving, aviation, photography and working in his wife's gardens; and now possibly a new pastime, ballroom dancing. The greatest enjoyment for him is the good fortune of still being able to pursue these activities, most often with his wife or children and now with the grandchildren included.
