Sebastian Schmidt

Sebastian's work as president and chief operating officer of Kurtz North America has kept him dancing with companies around the world for the past 12 years. A native of Hamburg, Germany, where he was educated in international business and banking, Sebastian now resides in Plymouth with his wife of 20 years, Leonore, and three teenage children. Although Sebastian has been traveling for business in the last 24 years, he loves to spend time with his family and friends. He is a former board member of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and a past president and board member of Early Bird Rotary. He is currently active in his church and as a board member of Great Marriages for Sheboygan County. Although the little he learned in dance lessons with his wife has apparently been lost in some airport, Sebastian looks forward to dancing at this year's Gala.

Sebastian is sponsored by an Anonymous Donor and has chosen Great Marriages for Sheboygan County as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on his behalf.

He will be performing the west coast swing with his dance partner, Sheli Schroeder.
