Susan Alby

SUSAN ALBY's passionate interest in music has filled her life with vivid memories and intense emotions. Her love of childhood songs led to the study and performance of classical piano. As a child, her parents' support encouraged her to dream and challenged her to be creative. Susan discovered dance as a young adult. She studied ballet, tap, and jazz with Diane Remy in Sheboygan, at The Milwaukee Ballet School and with tap dance pro Guy Singer. In the Eighties, she taught dance to people of all ages at the Sheboygan YMCA.

Susan initially became interested in ballroom dancing while playing keyboard for a jazz combo in Milwaukee. In 2002, she earned her BA at Northern Michigan University with a major in art & design/illustration and a minor inmusic. She has taught basic social dancing at the YMCA and Community Recreation Department. She was fortunate to study for two years under the direction of dance coach, Peter Goethche, a National and International Champion ballroom dancer from Denmark. And in 2006, Susan started Chance2Dance to extend the wonderful world of ballroom and social dancing in Sheboygan!
