Dana Bemis

Delightful Dana is a dancer, originally from Delafield. She loves to move to the beat, and it's a good thing. Three daughters under five years old keep her on her toes every day.

It's a gig she loves — and perfect preparation for the half marathons she runs.

In her spare time, Dana is a member of the Sheboygan Service Club and the YMCA Board of Managers.

She earned her bachelor's degree at UW-Madison, and it was there she became hooked on ballroom dancing. Her partner at this year's Gala will be the same professional who introduced her to ballroom dancing in Madison.

In addition to time spent choreographing the lives of her busy family with husband Jon, Dana loves to read, exercise, and travel. She's looking forward to traveling around the Gala dance floor this year for the benefit of Lakeland College, The Sheboygan Symphony and the Sheboygan County YMCA.

Dana is sponsored by Bemis Manufacturing. She has chosen the Sheboygan County YMCA as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on her behalf.

She will be performing a Latin medley with her dance partner, Darrell Dieringer.
