Ed Zieve

As an accomplished engineer, Ed knows how to make things work. If you have any doubt, come and see him dance at this year's Gala.

As the only octogenarian on the floor, he'll dazzle you with his jitterbug moves.

Ed was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. He earned a bachelor's degree at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois where he met his wife Charlotte.

Ed is an avid reader, sailor and adventure traveler known for his colorful stories — all true, of course.

He's the owner of Kees Inc., an Elkhart Lake manufacturer of accessories and specialty items for the commercial sheet metal HVAC, architectural grille specialties and food service industries.

Ed resides in Elkhart Lake where he is active in his company and attentive to local, national and world issues. No grass grows under Ed's feet. Come and see for yourself.

Ed is sponsored by the Zieve Family Foundation. He has chosen the Elkhart Lake Library as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on his behalf.

He will be performing the jitterbug with his dance partner, Sue Alby.
