Matt Quasius

As a CPA, Matt is a numbers guy, and he knows that he's jumping way off the balance sheet to dance at this year's Gala. But the temptation to outmaneuver his father, who danced in the inaugural Gala event, is just too much to resist.

A Sheboygan native, Matt earned a degree in finance and accounting at UW-Madison.

He spent seven years with Deloitte in Chicago and New York, returning to Sheboygan in 2003 to work in the family business, Quasius Construction, Inc. Matt is a member of several community boards including Camp Y-Koda and the United Way. He is currently president of the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce.

Encouraged by his wife Michelle and three children to dance and redeem the family name, Matt is excited to have some fun and support Lakeland College, The Sheboygan Symphony and the Healthy Communities-Healthy Youth initiative.

Will it be necessary for another family member to dance next year?

Matt is sponsored by Quasius Construction, Inc. and has chosen the Healthy Communities-Healthy Youth Initiative as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on his behalf.

He will be performing the Argentine tango with his dance partner, Sarah Calhoun.
