Susan MusgraveSusan dances with purpose. What started as cancer treatment therapy 5 years ago has grown into a passion for her to use dance as a means of offering hope to others facing health challenges. Susan majored in music education at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. Since then she has moved around the Midwest with her husband Tom, ultimately settling in Howards Grove about three years ago. A past piano teacher and director of children's choirs, Susan loves all forms of musical expression. A competitive ballroom dancer and member of the Sheboygan Symphony Chorus, she enjoys singing for weddings and special occasions. Encouraged by her longtime dance instructor, Martin Cawston of Milwaukee (who will be dancing with Susan at this year's Gala), she is always looking for opportunities to make a positive difference in someone's life through her personal experience and dance. Susan's husband responded by securing a spot for her to dance in this year's Gala for the benefit of breast cancer research and rehabilitation. Come and watch Susan and her instructor wow you with their cha-cha. You'll be inspired. Susan is sponsored by JL French and has chosen The Vince Lombardi Cancer Center as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on her behalf. She will be performing the cha-cha with her dance partner, Martin Cawston. |
