Suzie HeroldSuzie Herold

The true yin-yang of Suzie is that, if she hadn't become a doctor, she had wanted to be a ballerina. She has an artistic passion for dance as much as a scientific desire for learning and challenge.

Suzie earned a bachelor's degree at Boston College and an MD at the University of Virginia. She is board certified in internal medicine and claims to have met her husband, Jeff, over an appendix.

After residency, she spent two years on the faculty at the University of Rochester School of Medicine before moving back to the area as an internist. After taking time off to be home with her three treasured children, she is now medical director of executive wellness for Prevea.

Suzie is vice president of the Kohler School Foundation, an active parent volunteer in Kohler Schools and on the board of the Friends of St. Nicholas Hospital. Family, friends and education are at the top of her dance card.

Suzie is sponsored by Prevea. She has chosen Safe Harbor as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on her behalf.

She will be performing the rumba and cha cha with her dance partner, Frank Gillitzer.
