2 students to receive $10k scholarship and 6 students to receive $5k scholarship

The 2018 Gala proceeds support Lakeland University student scholarships, but this year, we have something really special. Each team and couple is directly supporting a Lakeland University student who will receive a $5,000 scholarship. The Movers & Shakers Gala Team Champion scholarship student AND The Movers & Shakers Gala Couple Champion scholarship student will each receive an additional $5,000. The Movers & Shakers Gala Champion is determined by:

• one-third from votes captured before the event;
• one-third from scores given by 10 professional anonymous judges' score on event night; and
• one-third from the score given by the event night audience.

The Gala dancers are pleased to be supporting a student and the purchase of $20 votes help to support the dancer and the students.
