Amanda BrotzAmanda Brotz

As an avid environmentalist, Amanda is dedicated to preserving the world's natural resources. As a celebrity dancer, she hopes to use her own natural resources to complete a clean sweep of the competition at this year's Gala.

A Kohler native, Amanda earned a bachelor's degree in geology at Arizona State University and a master's degree at Western Michigan.

She hopes to match the excitement and fun her father Mike experienced as a dancer in the first Movers and Shakers Gala.

Amanda volunteers with the Sheboygan River Basin Partnership through the "Adopt a Stream" project. She has worked in Chicago for an environmental consulting firm and in Michigan for the Army Corps of Engineers conducting Lake Michigan coastal erosion studies. She is currently the Environmental Compliance Coordinator at Plastics Engineering Company.

An avid sailor, hiker, biker and boarder, it's a good bet that Amanda will sparkle as a dancer at this year's Gala.

Amanda is sponsored by Plastics Engineering Company and has chosen Trees for Tomorrow as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on her behalf.

She will be performing the tango with her dance partner, Chuck Spencer.
