Julia Loo-SutclifeJulia loves dancing, and although these days she spends time thinking about salsa on the shelves of her Feed Mill Market business, years ago it was salsa on the dance floor as a student in Ecuador. Julia's hometown is Colorado Springs. She completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Boulder and a master of social work degree at the University of Denver. Elkhart Lake is now Julia's home with daughters, Sofie and Lucy, and husband Steve. Julia also owns Cottagewood and Thyme Savours, located in the Feed Mill Shops of Elkhart Lake. She has been an active member of the Elkhart Lake Tourism Commission and is currently involved with the Elkhart Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. Julia is also active on the Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah Education Foundation board and as a volunteer in the Partner in Reading program. In addition to dancing, Julia's interests include pottery, photography, hiking and downhill skiing. Julia is sponsored by The Feed Mill Shops of Elkhart Lake and has chosen the Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah Education Foundation as the recipient of 50% of the proceeds raised through the purchase of extra votes on her behalf. She will be performing the cuban rhumba with her dance partner, Dennis Lopez. |
