Why did you decide to attend Lakeland University?
Because of the sports management and leadership program. When I came to visit campus it felt like home, even though home is only about 12 minutes away. Lakeland had many different opportunities and connections to help me reach my career goals.

What is one thing you want everyone to know about Lakeland University?
That even though it may be in the middle of a corn field, we are one amazing home filled with tons of opportunities, friends and great memories. We are a large gem out here and you need to come visit.

How do you want to impact someone else's life as a young professional?
I want to show other young women that as long as you work hard, stay focused and set your mind on your goals, you can accomplish anything. I want to show others that you can hold any role you want to and there is no definition of who can hold that role. Stand proud and be you!

How will the Gala scholarship impact your future?
This scholarship will open the door to unpaid sport internships for fall. Most internships with a professional sports teams are unpaid, but to me it is not about the money with an internship, it is all about the experience you gain! This scholarship will help to make sure I pay off tuition at Lakeland, and not have to work three jobs so I can focus on a sports internship starting this summer.
